The preparation process of this product involves three major steps: sulfonation of naphthalene, condensation of sulfonation products with formaldehyde, and neutralization. Put 550kg of refined naphthalene into a reaction vessel, raise the temperature to 50 ℃, and react for 4 hours. Then, lower the temperature and introduce water vapor to decompose the by-products to obtain 1-naphthalene sulfonic acid.
After hydrolysis is completed, the material is fed into a condensation kettle, and a 37% formaldehyde aqueous solution is added to react at a pressure of 196kPa. Finally, neutralize with alkali until the pH value is 8-10. The reaction is over. Cool and crystallize, filter out the crude product, and dry it to obtain the finished product.
