Oleic Acid Production Technology

Oleic acid exists in various fats and oils in the form of glycerides. The production methods of oleic acid are usually hydrolysis and saponification. Among them, the hydrolysis method is to directly  ordinary oils and fats to produce fatty acids, and then separate and purify them to obtain oleic acid; the saponification method is to saponify oils under alkaline conditions, separate glycerol, acidify the soaps to obtain fatty acids, and then separate and purify them.
