This product is white to off-white powder with a slight special odor. Soluble in water. The aqueous solution is colorless and transparent to translucent.
This product has hygroscopic agglomeration, but the strength of agglomeration is not high. This product is a bis-sulfonate anionic surfactant with higher molecular weight and lower hydrophilicity compared with K12, which makes it easier to prepare microemulsion.

Magnesium Dodecyl Sulfate is used as a lubricant, disintegrating agent and emulsifier in the field of pharmaceuticals, such as: applied to tablets, powders, creams and other products.
