Cuprous telluride semiconductor nanocrystals have good particle conductivity, thermoelectricity and local surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) effect in near infrared (NIR) regions, and have a broad application prospect in the fields of photovoltaic and photothermal therapy. Three kinds of (Cu2-xTe, Cu1.75Te, Cu7Te5) based telluride semiconductor nanomaterials were successfully prepared by using two different synthesis mechanisms of aqueous phase and oil phase, respectively. The preparation process was analyzed, and the LSPR effect in the near infrared region was studied. The results showed that the photothermal conversion properties of the three telluride semiconductor nanocrystals were compared, indicating that cu2-xTe nanorods were superior to Cu1.75TE nanorods and Cu7Te5 nanorods. The film formation of three copper telluride semiconductor nanocrystals was compared. Cu7Te5 nanometer cube can form dense uniform film.
