What is Nitinol alloy?
Ni-Ti-Noel alloy contains 50% nickel and 50% titanium; nickel and titanium are equally divided, each accounting for half. The temperature range of its shape memory can be adjusted by controlling the composition. Generally, the higher the nickel content of Ni-Ti-Noel alloy, the lower the working temperature. The memory alloy can work at room temperature when nickel content is 55% and titanium content is 45%. People have used this memory alloy feature to make pearl necklaces and bracelets made of memory alloy wires and bras woven with memory alloy wires. Wearing these ornaments and health care products on the body will restore the original curvature and stiffness under the effect of human body temperature, thus playing the role of decoration and health care. In addition, Ni-Ti-Noel alloy can also be used to make orthodontic wire to correct  teeth using human oral temperature.
Limitations of Ni-Ti-N alloy
As a long-term implanted biomaterial (such as a cardiac stent), Ni-Ti memory alloy should have a good biomechanical function, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. However, Ni-Ti memory alloy has made great progress in medical applications. Ni-Ti memory alloy still contains nearly 50% nickel, nickel as a potential carcinogen and allergen has brought great difficulties to Ni-Ti memory alloy as a long-term implant. However, nickel is also found in many stainless steel and cobalt-chromium alloys. Through proper treatment (electrolytic polishing or passivation) of Nitinol, a very stable titanium dioxide protective layer will be formed on the surface of Nitinol, which acts as a very effective and self-repairing barrier to prevent the exchange of nickel ions. Experiments repeatedly show that Nitinol releases nickel ions more slowly than stainless steel. Today's Ni-Ti memory alloy vascular stent has not observed obvious corrosion or nickel release, and the patient has not developed anaphylaxis after surgery.

Application of Ni-Ti-N alloy
The most widely known application of nickel-titanium alloy tubes is to manufacture self-expansive supports by laser cutting. It is a popular choice for peripheral vascular applications. The concentricity control of the inner diameter of the pipe and the good surface finish are the keys to obtaining a good yield when manufacturing the support. Nitinol tube is also used for biopsy, endoscopy, and orthopedic applications. Nitinol guide wire is used to guide the catheter to inaccessible body parts. Unlike stainless steel, they are advantageous because they are resistant to kinking. The metal wire is elastic. It can move along a zigzag path in the body without damage. Nitinol will rotate smoothly and transmit torque. Nitinox is also commonly used to manufacture woven supports and filters.

Price of nitinol alloy
Nitinol alloy particle size and purity will affect the product's Price, and the purchase volume can also affect the cost of nitinol alloy. A large amount of large amount will be lower. The Price of nitinol alloy can be found on our company's official website.
