Then, the molten aluminum is hydraulically cast into the micropores under the vacuum environment with special equipment to form the aluminum-silicon carbide composite. The outstanding advantage of aluminum silicon carbide composite material is that it combines the low thermal expansion coefficient of ceramics, the thermal conductivity of pure aluminum, and the strength of cast iron. Its performance is superior to that of tungsten copper, and its price is far lower than that of tungsten copper. It can also be made into large-sized and special-shaped parts that tungsten copper cannot form.

The common method of low-temperature oxidation sintering ceramic preform will form a thick silica layer on the surface of silicon carbide, which will seriously affect the thermal conductivity of the product so that the room temperature thermal conductivity of the product cannot exceed 180W/mK (no matter how much it is claimed). However, the silicon dioxide content of our self-developed ceramic preform manufacturing process is only 1/8 of that of the conventional process, and the thermal conductivity of the product exceeds 240W/mK.
