Preparation methods of potassium silicate:
1. In the melting method, silica sand and caustic potassium are mixed in a certain proportion and added to the melting furnace, which is heated by heavy oil or electricity to 1200 ℃ to 1400 ℃. When a completely molten transparent body is formed, it is released from the furnace and cooled and solidified, and then put into an autoclave and dissolved by pressurized steam (0.2MPa).
The solution is clarified at rest, the impurities are removed, and the clarification solution is concentrated to obtain the finished potassium silicate.
2. The melting method (dry method) is adopted
After the action of silica sand and caustic potassium in the melting furnace, it is then dissolved by pressurized steam.
