How to control the production stability of foamed concrete

The construction steps of foam concrete are as follows: 
1. Base treatment: before pouring foam concrete thermal insulation or cushion, the concrete floor base is treated. The treatment method can be found in this article. Before pouring foam concrete insulation (or cushion), the concrete floor base is treated, the loose concrete and floating slurry bonded on the base are removed with a chisel, the cement paste is brushed off with steel wire, and then cleaned with a broom.

3. mixing material: add cement and fly ash to the mixer after metering, make about 1 inch fine uniform foam with 10% foaming agent aqueous solution, and then add foam to the mixer; foam and cement slurry are mixed evenly to make foam concrete slurry. 
4. Pouring: the foam concrete slurry is poured on the prepared subbase. 
5. Maintenance: foam concrete must be maintained continuously, and the curing age shall not be less than 7 days. 
It is forbidden to cover wet rags, soil and other sundries on the surface of foam concrete for a long time. 
6. The construction ambient temperature should be above 5 °C. 
7. Means of transport should be protected from rain. 
8. Foam concrete is a special dry mixed lightweight building materials products, the manufacturer should have the corresponding qualification certificate to engage in production activities. 

In order to ensure the quality of foamed concrete, the following aspects of quality control are needed: 
1. Raw material control: the raw materials of foamed concrete, such as cement, foaming agent, fly ash, etc., must be checked and accepted, including technical documents, instructions, certificates, etc., and witness sampling inspection and related testing shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations. 
2. Equipment control: the equipment for foam concrete construction must meet the equipment requirements such as good performance, advanced weighing tools and automatic printing of production records. 
3. Personnel control: implement the post responsibility system to fix the machine, personnel, post and responsibility. 
Train the on-site construction and quality inspection personnel, and strengthen the quality awareness from managers to workers. 
4. Construction process control: in the process of construction, special personnel are arranged to test the wet bulk density and fluidity of foam light soil, and fill in the inspection records as required. The settlement observation of the formed foam light soil needs to be observed and recorded every day. 
5. Quality control points: including the control of raw material mix ratio, operation sequence, thickness and flatness, while ensuring that the construction environment temperature is not less than 5 degrees. 
6. Pouring of foam concrete: the foam concrete mixture begins to be poured after the bubble is relatively stable, and the surface is leveled in time. 
When the thickness of foamed concrete exceeds 200mm, layer-by-layer pouring is needed to ensure that there are no cracks in the finished and semi-finished products. 
7. Post-maintenance: the foam concrete model can be removed and water-sprayed curing can be carried out 72 hours after the completion of pouring. 

The maintenance of foam concrete includes the following steps: 
1. After pouring foam concrete, it should be covered with cement paste or cement concrete before final setting, and watered and cured. 
2. For a large area of concrete, the method of water storage maintenance should be adopted. 
Water can be stored on the concrete surface after pouring, the water surface should be lower than the 10mm of the concrete surface, and the thickness of the water layer should be maintained. 
3. For structures and foundation projects, asphalt emulsion can be applied to the surface or soil backfill can be used for maintenance. 
4. In winter construction, attention should be paid to heat preservation and moisturization, and the surface can be covered with plastic film for maintenance after the pouring is completed. 
5. For the engineering parts that have not been used for a long time, straw bags and other materials are used to cover and water maintenance to avoid water evaporation too fast, resulting in cracks on the surface.
