How to produce Spherical Copper coated Tungsten Powder?
The production method of spherical copper-coated tungsten powder mainly includes the following steps:
Preparing copper powder and tungsten powder: copper powder and tungsten powder with an average particle size of 0.5 to 3 μm are selected as initial raw materials and mixed.
Plasma spheroidization treatment: The mixed copper powder and tungsten powder are subjected to plasma spheroidization treatment to form spherical particles.
Preparation of copper-coated tungsten composite powder: The copper-coated tungsten composite particles after plasma spheronization are spray dried to obtain micron-level W-Cu composite powder.
Heat treatment: The spray-dried composite powder is heat-treated to obtain the desired sphericity powder through debinding and densification cementation.

What is the application of Spherical Copper coated Tungsten Powder?
Spherical copper-coated tungsten powder is used in the following aspects:
Military: Due to the good electrical and thermal conductivity of copper-coated tungsten powder, it can be used in the manufacture of microelectronic materials, switching electrical contacts, electrical machining electrodes, high-voltage discharge tube electrodes and other military equipment to improve the performance and reliability of military equipment.
Industry: Copper-coated tungsten powder can be used in the manufacture of gas rudders, air rudders, nose cones and other aerospace equipment, as well as used in the manufacture of missiles and rocket engines, nozzles and other high-temperature devices, to improve the high-temperature performance and service life of the equipment.
Electronics: As copper-coated tungsten powder has good electrical and thermal conductivity, it can be used in the manufacture of microelectronic materials, chip carriers and other electronic equipment to improve the performance and reliability of electronic equipment.
Powder metallurgy: copper-coated tungsten powder can be used in the manufacture of metal powder metallurgy materials to improve the strength and hardness of the material, as well as wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
High-temperature alloys: copper-coated tungsten powder can be added to high-temperature alloys as additives to improve the high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance of the alloy.
Composite materials: copper-coated tungsten powder can be used to manufacture composite materials to improve the material's electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, wear resistance and corrosion resistance and other properties.

Composition (percentage by mass):

Application of Spherical Copper Coated Tungsten Powder:
The Spherical Copper Coated Tungsten Powder mainly used in cemented carbide, diamond tools and so on.

Storage Condition of Copper-coated Tungsten Powder:

Damp reunion will affect Copper-coated Tungsten Powder dispersion performance and using effects, therefore,Copper-coated Tungsten Powder should be sealed in vacuum packing and stored in cool and dry room, the Copper-coated Tungsten Powder can not be exposure to air. In addition, the Copper-coated Tungsten Powder should be avoided under stress.
